Upper Lip Hair Removal - 3 Working Solutions

Waxing might actually be a better method of upper lip hair removal. Why? Because at with tweezers you are prolonging the time in which you are in pain trying to get rid of all those hairs, it’s like torture, hair after hair being pulled out, one by one, it’s not the most pleasant experience.

On the other hand, with waxing, it too is not pleasant, but the good news is that the upper lip can be waxed in a good 2 quick strokes. If you go to a professional salon to get this done, it will likely cost you $10-$15. A thin coating of wax is applied to both sides of the lip while a thin cotton strip is massaged into it and pulled back against the direction of hair growth.

There will be 2 sharp jabs of pain, but after that, you’ll be in the clear.

3. Depilatories

If neither of those options quite strike your fancy, you may want to consider a depilatory. This is a cream that works by destroying the proteins that bind your hair together and in essence, turning your hair into mush which can be easily wiped away.

The good news with this treatment is the hairs up there are likely thin and perfect for a treatment such as this since depilatories don’t work quite as well on thick hair. The only downside is that you need to leave the cream on for 10 minutes, at which point you may have gotten a bit of a chemical burn to remember the experience by.
