Upper Lip Hair Removal - 3 Working Solutions
By LyleAgotii
Are you interested in some methods of upper lip hair removal? As a woman, a mustache is not quite seen as a sexy attribute, it is thus important that if you are exhibiting one , even if faint, to take whatever means necessary to get rid of it.
Now it’s a good thing you’re here on the Net as there are many solutions to be found here. Most people know that shaving is one sure-fire solution to this problem, but it’s not the best long term solution as you will be left with stubble in the following days. So if you’re looking for better upper lip hair removal methods, try these ones out:
1. Tweezers
Good old tweezers. Tweezers can work great in a pinch in order to get rid of those unsightly lip hairs. Because the are you’re treating is relatively small, something simple like tweezers just might be enough to get the job done. Sure it’s going to be painful, however that’s usually only the case the first time around.
As you continue to pluck away at the hair when it re-grows, you’ll find the hair is pulled out more and more easily as time goes by. This is also probably one of the least expensive options you have at your disposal.
2. Waxing
Waxing might actually be a better method of upper lip hair removal. Why? Because at with tweezers you are prolonging the time in which you are in pain trying to get rid of all those hairs, it’s like torture, hair after hair being pulled out, one by one, it’s not the most pleasant experience.
On the other hand, with waxing, it too is not pleasant, but the good news is that the upper lip can be waxed in a good 2 quick strokes. If you go to a professional salon to get this done, it will likely cost you $10-$15. A thin coating of wax is applied to both sides of the lip while a thin cotton strip is massaged into it and pulled back against the direction of hair growth.
There will be 2 sharp jabs of pain, but after that, you’ll be in the clear.
3. Depilatories
If neither of those options quite strike your fancy, you may want to consider a depilatory. This is a cream that works by destroying the proteins that bind your hair together and in essence, turning your hair into mush which can be easily wiped away.
The good news with this treatment is the hairs up there are likely thin and perfect for a treatment such as this since depilatories don’t work quite as well on thick hair. The only downside is that you need to leave the cream on for 10 minutes, at which point you may have gotten a bit of a chemical burn to remember the experience by.
Regardless of which upper lip hair removal treatment you decide to go for, you will be successful, it’s just a matter of what you’re most comfortable with. You can find waxing kits and depilatories in either your local store or through the Internet.
