Want to know how to get rid of cellulite on your legs?  For many women, cellulite is an issue that they’re going to have to deal with at least at some point in their life.  It is quite common to be afflicted with it and it is indiscriminate, it affects both young and old, overweight and underweight.

1.        Liposuction

This is one way to get rid of cellulite on your legs.  Liposuction is a surgical method in which an incision is made on the thigh and the offending cellulite is removed via a suction tube.  It’s invasive and it may not get rid of the cellulite as it’s mainly used to get rid of the fat that is where it’s normally supposed to be. 

Fat that is causing cellulite is all caught up in the connective tissues right below the skin, so this may not be the best way to go about treating it.

2.        Lipo Dissolve

This is another treatment to get rid of cellulite on your legs, it’s not the same as liposuction.  What happens is injections are made in the areas where the cellulite is and a medication derived from soy and de-oxycholate which is something produced within your digestive system.

This is then injected directly to the fat layers and connective tissues where it can break down the cellulite so that it can be shuttled out of the body.

3.        Acoustic Wave Therapy

This is a strange way to get rid of cellulite on your legs.  You see, there is a certain frequency that can affect connective tissue and cause your skin’s elasticity to be increased by increasing the production of collagen.  This treatment takes 30 minutes and you can see results from it in as little as 6 sessions.  The one downside is that some patients experience bruising.

4.        Squat

Another way to get rid of cellulite on your legs is through squatting.  The squat is an exercise which not only engages your legs, but the rest of your body as well, it is a very powerful exercise that will work to tone and build up your legs. 

Now, one note here is that you can injure your back doing squats if you’re not careful, this is an exercise which should be initially done with supervision from a trainer so that you don’t end up injuring yourself.

What you need to do is place the barbell behind your neck on your traps and keeping your back straight, move down as if to sit on a chair, once you reach parallel, come back up.
